HELLOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. TODAY I'M DRESSED ALL JAZZY- it's just a shame about my face really. Last night I went to the 'Lush Nottingham Awards' (how fancy) (I bet you're all thinking jesus christ Ellie you left the house) it was really good fun and so funny and honest to god I feel so lucky to have such an awesome job. So yup, I bought this dress at Christmas but I haven't had anywhere to wear it to, so instead, what I did, was just hang it on the back of my wardrobe door to look at it nd soak in all it's prettiness. I'm joking. No I'm not joking I did actually do that. So yeah it's slightly to big for me but whatevz I like it. I also wore my brand spanking new (plu) leather jacket that Fashion Union sent me. YES OK I KNOW I'M A COUPLE OF YEARS BEHIND WITH THIS WHOLE LEATHER JACKET THING BUT I'M SLOWLY CATCHING UP. And I regret not hunting one down earlier. It fits beautifully and it's the perfect size; by having this leather jacket it has opened many doors for me and I feel like my life has changed for the better. I can now happily wear my blue jeans without looking like a nutter (as in, I can't really wear my denim jacket with them too- I'm not cool enough for that) and I think I have now officially joined the badman crew. No one messes with me- especially not with those studs on my shoulders uhuh uhuh. Basically I'm gonna be wearing this to death and if you too, like I was, leather-jacket-less, I think you should just go and make the investment now. It will be a choice in life you will never regret. (and the studs look surprisingly subtle too, well, of course if you're wearing it with a bright blue glitter dress).

PPS: I'm going to see Of Monsters and Men tomorrow night in Nottingham, I'm really looking forward to it
