slightly on the photo heavy side.....
Ok, close your eyes, and picture an artists' studio: overflowing with creativity, giant glass windows, clusters of paintbrushes, vintage picture frames, art books. (You might have seen a lot of this on my pinterest recently). Honestly, when I walked into Primary Studios I tried really hard to stop my jaw from hitting the ground in shock/amazement/happiness. This was the place! I went along for my Art AS Level for my 'Artists' Studios' topic and this was, by far, the ideal place to visit. What I really love is all the open space and the natural light, it is a 130 year old building that used to be a primary school. Amazing. There's such a variety of work in there too, from graphics, textiles, sculptor and to more traditional painting. Every room is different. Going to places like this really makes me want to go and do all things art-y. Thank you Michelle for letting me visit! (I have some more photos here!).
If you guys have a spare moment and are into all things lush-y, Lush Nottingham have a facebook page if you could give it a like (we're also on twitter and instagram!)
