2013

I did one of these buggers last year, and it looks like everyone’s doing another one this year so I thought I’d throw this into your pile to read too! Prepare yourselves guys, for another, emotional, soppy, year summary thing! Wooooooooooo. It’s been lovely looking back on old blog posts recently seeing what I was doing this time last year, so although (maybe) you like reading this, hopefully it’ll be something I can look back on in a couple of years too! I would do one of those ‘year in outfits’ posts too…but srsly, who actually wants to see my face a million times ????????. Definitely not me, or my Mum, or anyone, for that matter.
Bloggy blog blog
This year definitely was the year of the blog. I would never have thought so many things could come from talking to yourself on the internet when I started my blog 2 ish years ago.  This time last year, I think I had just reached 500 followers, one year on, I’m nearly at 1000 which is pretty mad. I got to meet my bloggy homies (SophieIslay and Ellie) for the first time ever a couple of months ago, we all met up in London to go to a press event and it was one of the most hilarious days, with much money spent on photo booths. Being nominated for Best Teen Blogger at the Company Magazine #Stylebloggerawards earlier this year was pretty amazing too, as well as getting my blog into real life proper paper when I was featured in Mizz Magazine in July. Getting a press pass for Clothes Show Live was good fun, as well as being able to work with my all time favourite shop ASOS on a couple of their student campaigns was possibly the most exciting thing that’s happened ever ever…..I will never get over seeing myself on the actual ASOS website….slightly insane…and being invited to their HQ for the launch of their #Todayis campaign was an evening where I had a constant ‘zomg’ look on my face. I’ll definitely never forget it.
Urban Outfitters Came to Nottingham!!!!!!! Finally!
This is so important it deserves it’s own subheading. I still can’t believe there’s FINALLY an Urban Outfitters in Nottingham, and that I was invited to their Press Day for it, I felt really lucky to be one of the first bunch of people to have a look around the store. I can’t wait to see their SS14 range in store too…
Leeds
One of my favourite weekends was definitely going to Leeds. I never thought in my life I would be able to identify different types of mud until I went there. Neither see so much rain fall in the space of a couple of hours or sit watching comedy whilst fork lightning was coming down. Biffy’s headline set will forever be my favourite.
America
Going on the craziest, most amazing holiday ever to North America in the Summer. Seeing the Niagara Falls was absolutely insane as well as going to a KFC so dodgy there were bars over the till point in Detroit, going to Lollapalooza festival and seeing The Cure and Vampire Weekend. One of the best days of my life. I would do anything to go back. I’d love to live in Chicago. I can dream.
Mes Amis
They’re absolutely hilarious and the best friends anyone could ask for. No joke, proper serious.
Fam
Best family who are way too sarcastic but I love them anywaysz. Plus Kitty. She doesn’t like photos.
Of course, like anything, there is the not so good stuff but let’s not talk about those because the awesome stuff out weighs it all. Now, I only have a couple of months left suffering at college before I can blog to my hearts content, watch Extreme Couponing 24/7 and do whatever I want before I (if I) go to University and make myself suffer in the world of education (and be skint) for a further three years! Yay for 2014!
On a serious level though I’m gonna try so hard to be vegetarian this year, it’s something I’ve wanted to do properly for ages.
Thank you so much for reading my blog, even if perhaps you’ve landed here by mistake from googling Ellie Goulding, you’re my Nan, or if you’ve read every post- thank you very very much, it really means a lot, and I hope (and I’m sure I will) carry on blogging until I die yo. I’ll be 99 and like…..must…..publish….wish list..post……
Haps New Year Homies.

Definitely have a go at vegetarianism. I became veggie in 2012 (last day of V Fest lol) and haven't lapsed once. Seriously, it's not that difficult, I was a maj carnivore. The only difficult thing is when you go out for meals and the only thing on offer is mushrooms. It's probably the best thing I've ever done, I feel so much healthier in mind and body :) Also, your blog is easily my fave. x

aaaaaayyyyyyy kind one, thank you for commenting
