visiting bermondsey square

Slowly making my way through and ticking everything off from the London Style Guide, Bermondsey Market was high up on the list of things to do. When Islay was in Landan a couple of weeks ago we had a wander around and visited the Antiques Market in Bermondsey Square. Surprisingly, like in the name, it was full of antiques. From faux fur coats, beautiful brooches and jewellery to loads of retro furniture, it was really lovely to have a look around and have a proper nosy. Tucked under a bridge we found the nicest bakery ever and sat and ate brownies (bliss). Turns out there’s a massive food market here every Saturday morning (another reason to return……). To visit somewhere that’s sweet, london-like, but not too in-your-face busy with some funky vintage finds – Bermondsey is lovely.

Plz suggest other nice London-y markets to visit, so I can add them to the never ending London bucket list…
