I know it’s like the thing to say when you’ve got a blog and I know I’ve repeated it loads over the past couple of years, but there’s nothing better than meeting up with bloggers/peoples blogs you’ve read for years. Let’s just say meeting up with Justina was SO overdue. In the grand scheme of things, we’re basically blogging oldies to the point of talking about a holiday from 4 years ago and she’s just stood there like ‘yeah I know I read your blog post on it’, so when she finally came to London a couple of weeks ago it was only right that we caught up, you know, IRL. To have so much in common with someone who practically lives on the other side of the world living a completely different lifestyle is completely bizarre, but beyond cool.
You can so easily forget how nice it is to take someone around London for the first time. Armed with sturdy Dr Martens for a major day of walking, we did Brick Lane – vintage, street art, cereal eating and seeing the true sights of East London (glam). Managing to get tickets, we went up to the Sky Garden (my first time!) – seeing as it’s free to do, the views were completely insane. Of course, both working at Lush, going to the Oxford Street flagship just had to happen followed by an introduction to true British fish and chips. Stopping off in between at Carnaby Street, Covent Garden, Piccadilly Circus and even Primark’s press day in between, consider all of the sights seen.
DON’T WORRY JUSTINA, I’M ALREADY ON MY WAY TO CALIFORNIA!!
